Visionary Leadership at Cheyenne, Wyoming

On August 27th, 2006, Rhonda and I had the opportunity to visit the Word of Life Church of God in Cheyenne, Wyoming with Pastors Eldon and Christine Ash. During the morning service, it was my honor to present Christine Ash with her Ordained Ministers certificate. The ladies ministries of the local church presented her with a dozen roses and surrounded her with prayerful support.

Since their arrival as pastors in October 2005, the church has seen dramatic growth numerically and financially. What an exciting, worshipping, warm-hearted congregation that is united in purpose and vision to reach their community. The Powerteam (picture below) leads in praise and worship with variety and freshness. Their passion for worship is contagious.

Under Pastor Ash's leadership, the church has seen a real face-lift of their facilities. Renovations and continued work on the properties are ongoing. This church is a beautiful blend of different cultures coming together in the unity of the Spirit. This is a Word-centered church and I look forward to the opportunity when I can visit again.
